I am not even exactly sure how to ask this question. I would like participants to be able to begin typing an answer in a text field, then have choices appear in a list. For example, if they typed in A, choices might be App, Apple, Air, Art, Ants, ect. If they typed in Ap, then only App and Apple would be their choices. My data set that this list is coming from includes over 1,200 choices. I want to be sure they are entering information from the given list, not their own generated text.
Can anyone help? I'm very new to LC, so I apologize if this is a basic question.
