Automatically Increasing Number

Hello,

I am wondering if there is any way for me to automatically increase a number, starting with the number 1. I would like this number to start at number 1 and automatially increase by "1" each time the form is opened.  The thing is, I have NO IDEA, how to do this or even if this is possible.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
